Established by the government of British Columbia in 1981, Kwantlen, now Kwantlen Polytechnic University, has four campuses located in the Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia. KPU offers bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and citations in more than 120 programs. Almost 20,000 students annually attend courses at KPU campuses in Surrey, Richmond, Langley and Cloverdale.

Spring Term 2018 application deadline: September 14, 2017 at 4:00 pm
Entrance Award applicants will be short-listed and ranked by the Scholarships & Awards Selection Committee, based on the criteria of each award.
Students who are being admitted to KPU for the first time in the Fall 2017 or Spring 2018 are invited to apply for entrance scholarships and awards. KPU offers two types:
- KPU Major Entrance Scholarships
- The President's Scholarship ($20,000)
- The Merit Scholarship ($5,000)
- The Aboriginal Entrance Scholarship ($5,000)
- Donor-Funded Entrance Awards **not available for Spring 2018**
- Awards range in value from $1,000 to $3,000
Only one online application is required to be completed in order to be considered for any of the Fall awards.Students who are being admitted to KPU for the first time in Spring 2018, must complete a separate online application.
